British tabloids reported on Monday that Strictly Come Dancing contestant Susannah Constantine threw an epic tantrum behind the scenes after she was the first Strictly contestant to be eliminated this year.

But the What Not to Wear presenter has vehemently hit back, and shared the headline from The Daily Mirror on her official Instagram with the caption, “B******s, B******s and more B******s @BBC Strictly.”

Susannah Constantine posted the above response on her official Instagram account on Monday.

According to The Sun Constantine threw a teary tantrum. The source revealed:

“Susannah ended up in tears after the scores were given out — she takes herself quite seriously and wasn’t happy about it.

“She told people it was to do with her son going off to uni but she was obviously furious.”

“She seemed to hate every minute of it. She ignored the other dancers and didn’t talk to the judges and seemed to think she was above everyone else,” the source told The Sun.

Constantine was booted off the show following a dance-off with her dance partner Anton Du Beke against Lee Ryan and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova.

On the show she appeared to take the result well, and said she would “probably focus on the things that I’m good at” and has since said she feels “very lucky” to have participated in the hugely popular dance competition show.

“I know it has gone a bit quick, but you know what I just feel so lucky to have had three weeks learning to dance with Anton and to have met all these amazing people. And for me they are the most important and I feel really privileged to have met them all, and it has been amazing,” she said.

She’s also posted a thank you message on her Instagram account which includes the caption: “A MASSIVE thank you for all your support. The Strictly Experience is everything and more.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday night at 6.30pm on BBC One.
