The NYPD released footage on October 11 showing an incident from September 24 in which a suspect pushed a man onto subway tracks in an unprovoked attack.
The incident occurred in the 59th Street and Columbus Circle subway station, police said. "No words were exchanged prior to this unprovoked attack,” the New York Post quoted the NYPD as saying.
A 30-year-old man was waiting for a train when another man approached him and pushed him onto the tracks. The victim was pulled from the tracks and taken to hospital with scratches and injuries to his right side, according to the Post. Credit: NYPD via Storyful
