Suspect still on the loose three days after Croydon stabbing
A stabbing suspect is still on the loose three days on from the South London attack. Emergency services were called to Lodge Lane, Croydon at around 10.50pm on Sunday, February 2 to reports of an injured man.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, had stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where has has been in critical condition.
However today (Wednesday, February 5), the Metropolitan Police has confirmed that his condition is no longer life threatening. It has also told MyLondon that no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

In its full statement, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at about 10.50pm on Sunday, February 2, to reports of a man found injured in the road on Lodge Lane in Croydon . Emergency services attended. The man, who is believed to be aged in his 40s, was found to be suffering from stab injuries.
"He has been taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. His next of kin are aware. A crime scene is in place. There have been no arrests and enquiries continue. Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 reference CAD 7151/02Feb."
A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.55pm yesterday (February 2) to reports of a stabbing in Lodge Lane, New Addington. We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast-response car and an incident response officer.
“We also dispatched a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance, which consisted of a paramedic and a doctor in a car. We treated one patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre.”
