'Suspicious behaviour' leads to van being stopped at Torpoint Ferry

Police stopped a van at Torpoint Ferry in the early hours of the morning today, Saturday, May 25, following a report of 'suspicious behaviour'. The incident was reported at around 4.30am in Torpoint and, after officers investigated, no arrests were made.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: "Shortly after 4.30am police were called to a report of an assault on Anthony Road, Torpoint. The incident related to suspicious behaviour involving a van.

"The driver and occupier of the vehicle were found by police and there were no concerns. No arrest was made and no injuries were reported."
