A new restaurant in Somerset is set to welcome both human and canine patrons in December. Bill's, which is the latest addition to the town's popular Clarks Village shopping outlet at Street, will not only be dog-friendly but have its own doggy menu.

Sheri Williamson, Marketing Director at Bill’s, added: “In 2023 Bill’s went on a mission; to go from being ‘Dog-Friendly’ to being ‘Dog-Focussed’. This is how the idea of our Dog Menu came about, to make it clear that dogs are valued visitors too.

"Our bespoke dog offering includes a range of treats for dogs from Denzel’s, Marshfield’s Farm, and Woof & Brew. Check out our Instagram highlight called ‘Dogs of Bill’s’, it’s an overload of cuteness.

"We look forward to making more tails wag at Clarks Village.”

The announcement comes as Clarks Village has been nominated at the DogFriendly Awards (sic). Clarks Village is just one of three UK finalists to be nominated for the most dog friendly shopping centre award.

The winner will be announced at a glitzy ceremony in London on Thursday, November 21. Whatever the result, the shopping outlet is very proud of its new 'Canine Executive Officer', a three-legged Hungarian Vizsla called Dudley.

Chris Davis, Centre Director at Clarks Village, commented: “Bill’s is a brilliant addition to our line-up of brands and guests are looking forward to its arrival with anticipation. Even better is the news that Bill’s will welcome dogs to dine with their owners, making the restaurant a paw-fect fit for our dog-friendly outlet.

“We’re also incredibly proud Clarks Village has been announced as a finalist in the DogFriendly Awards, recognising all our efforts to welcome guests with their canine companions and enjoy a day out together.”

Clarks Village has over 90 shops, including Jack Wills, Sports Direct, Next, Levi's, Marks & Spencer, FatFace, and Calvin Klein. In terms of food, hungry customers can visit Costa Coffee, Pret A Manger, The Cornish Bakery, wagamama, Caffè Nero, and more.

Clarks Village is open seven days a week. From Monday to Saturday, it's open between 9am and 7pm. On Sundays, it's open from 10am to 5pm.
