U.S. Air Force Senior Airman proposes to girlfriend on top of fighter jet Preston, a 25-year-old United States Air Force Senior Airman from Tennessee, proposes to his girlfriend of almost two years while standing on top of a fighter jet at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina on February 2. Alexandria, a 25-year-old student at Methodist University for Doctorate of Occupational Therapy, says yes! Preston works as an aircraft structural maintainer, specifically on the F-15E Strike Eagles, and was able to get permission from Public Affairs to execute his creative proposal idea.
