Swollen River Severn Floods Parts of Shrewsbury

People living along the swollen River Severn in England remained on high alert on February 27 after days of flooding.

A severe flood warning, with a risk to life, was in place at Ironbridge. In nearby Shrewsbury, a warning was in place, with further rainfall forecast and another weather system expected by Friday, February 28.
