A man in his 30s was arrested on Thursday, April 20, and charged with child sex offences at a Westmead residence in western Sydney.
According to The Daily Telegraph the man was arrested at about 11:30 am after officers searched an office in Dee Why.
The man allegedly attempted to procure an 11-year-old girl for sex and “made numerous sexually explicit comments” about the child to a police officer pretending to be her father arranging a meeting, police said in a statement.
