Strictly Come Dancing winner Ore Oduba has taken a strip off Seann Walsh and Katya Jones for letting their 'one-off drunken mistake' overshadow their dancing.
First to finish was ‘Im a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ that saw lovable northern lass Scarlett Moffat complete her journey from watching television with her parents to walking out of Australia as ‘Queen of the Jungle’. Obviously the ‘X-Factor’ final that followed shortly afterwards was considerably not a ‘win’ for decent human beings everywhere as Honey G not only continued to undermine musical talent everywhere but undermined the very premise of the show by announcing that she was releasing a single even before the winner was. Which brings me to this weekend, bringing us not one, but two, finals with ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘The Apprentice’ wrapping up their annual search for a winner.
Ore Oduba and Jo Clifton are pronounced champions, Danny and Oti send the temperature soaring, we bid Len farewell and now we’re counting down the days till … well, 6.45pm on Christmas Day. Ore had been in the dance off twice, Danny fell into it in the semi while Louise has consistently been a huge favourite. My head said they would win, even though my heart belonged to Danny and Oti.
Joanne Clifton is dating Ronnie Corbett’s grandson. The Strictly Come Dancing professional – who joined the ballroom show this year – reportedly struck up a relationship with Joseph Edward-Bader four months ago and while it’s still early days, it seems their romance is moving quickly. The pair met while they were starring in the musical of Norma Jeane in London earlier this year and are hoping their relationship will withstand the test of time.
Strictly Come Dancing star Ore Oduba says rehearsing for the Latin and Ballroom dance competition has put his “downstairs” through an “absolute beating”. The BBC Sports presenter is partnered with the professional dancer Joanne Clifton and has recalled how during one of their gruelling practice sessions he slammed his manhood against a pole.
According to reports, they will be warned about the vulnerabilities of starting their rehearsal training while experiencing relationship difficulties, and will be offered advice on how to cope with the pressures. Former contestants claimed by the Strictly curse so far include Countdown presenter Rachel Riley, who split from her husband after just 15 months of marriage following her appearance on the show in 2014, and later went public with her new relationship with professional partner Pasha Kovalev.
