But the latest episode audaciously flips the script, ending with an outcome that could only exist in this form.

Brexit: The Uncivil War aired on Channel 4 last night, the much-hyped drama centring on Vote Leave strategist Dominic Cummings, played by Benedict Cumberbatch. But it may be that with the current churning chaos in government, the timing of broadcast was somewhat misjudged. Some viewers likened it to a ‘horror film’, rather than a drama, while others branded it simply ‘depressing’ and ‘too soon’. ...
Benedict Cumberbatch has switched up his look to play Vote Leave campaign manager Dominic Cummings for a new TV one-off drama. The Channel 4 TV movie, which currently has the working title Brexit, will focus on the data-driven political campaign during the EU referendum, including the "myriad tactics employed to swing one of the most surprising referendum results in living memory". Filming has begun on what's been promised to be an "explosive and illuminating" Brexit thriller, directed by Toby Haynes, who's worked on the likes of Sherlock, Black Mirror, and Doctor Who.
Benedict Cumberbatch called his Sherlock co-star Martin Freeman “pathetic” for complaining about the attention from fans of the hit TV show. Cumberbatch plays Sherlock Holmes in the BBC drama, while Mr Freeman portrays his assistant, Dr Watson. In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Cumberbatch disagreed, labelling his colleague's unhappiness "pathetic".
Nigel Farage could be about to hit Hollywood as a major TV series about Brexit is reportedly in the works. The £60m, six-part series is based on the book ‘The Bad Boys of Brexit’ by Ukip donor and Brexit campaigner Arron Banks. It’s the series finale of ‘Sherlock’… and it’s time to say goodbye. No doubt you’ve all been on pins after last week’s revelation that ‘Sherlock’ has a secret sister… and it came as no surprise when we found out this week that he didn’t have a clue about her all these years. Is she be a match for Sherlock?
Make no mistakes – ‘Sherlock’ is back… and better than ever. After a lacklustre opening episode, ‘Sherlock’ Series 4 was off to a rocky start. The game is on, folks… and ‘Sherlock’ is putting his thinking cap on.
More than that, though, I was quite disappointed by the death of Mary Watson – it was difficult not to view that as a misstep, albeit one which would clearly have significant repercussions for the rest of the series, again establishing a brand-new status quo for Sherlock moving forward. You can tell it’s a concept Moffat and Gatiss are aware of – there’s a knowing nod to the idea in The Six Thatchers, with Mycroft looking forlornly into a fridge and then closing it shortly after Mary’s (apparent) death.
‘Sherlock’ is back… but things aren’t quite the same. A lot has changed since ‘Sherlock’ first sleuthed his way onto our screens in 2010 with his first case – ‘A Study in Pink’. Instead, Sherlock is involved in another mystery concerning Mary Watson.
