The inquest has been adjourned until after the trial of two teens, a boy and girl both aged 15, charged with Brianna Ghey’s murder in Warrington, Cheshire, last month.
Police have described the killing of Brianna as a targeted attack, but said it is not being treated as 'hate-related'.
Brianna Ghey suffered multiple stab wounds on Saturday afternoon while walking along a path in her local park.
Campaigners say current laws around gender recognition mean Brianna Ghey will be misgendered on her death certificate.
