David Walliams couldn't help but promote Britain's Got Talent and slate Simon Cowell on tonight's X Factor.
David Walliams was branded “racist” by some Twitter users after dressing up as Kim Jong-un for Halloween – but he has brushed off the backlash.
Remember those frankly bizarre photos of Orlando Bloom paddleboarding in the buff that surfaced all those months ago?
ITV is really ramping up the festive camp this Christmas, regurgitating the classic BBC gameshow Blankety Blank with none other than David Walliams at the helm. X Factor judge Louis Walsh and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Lesley Joseph will be joined by Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent, comedian Joe Lycett, and The Weakest Link’s Anne Robinson for this year’s reboot.
It’s no secret that Simon Cowell isn’t always a massive fan of the unusual and extravagant acts that David Walliams sometimes presses the golden buzzer for on Britain’s Got Talent. This year though, reports claim Simon is taking extra steps to ‘protect the credibility’ of the talent show by banning David from pressing the golden buzzer for any ‘stupid’ acts’. It’s thought that David’s habit of putting the more, er, quirky acts straight through to the semi-finals infuriated Simon, who felt the move ‘devalued’ the buzzer.
