Singer-songwriter Matt Willis says fatherhood “changed” his life after struggling with alcohol and drug addiction following the demise of his band Busted. The Coming Home hitmaker – who also has three-month-old daughter Trixie Grace and four-year-old son Ace with Celebrity Big Brother presenter Emma Willis – entered rehab in 2005 to be treated for alcoholism.
Emma Willis might think husband Matt has the skills it takes to compete on Strictly Come Dancing, but she still has some reservations about the Busted star taking part. Ben Cohen split from his wife and is now enjoying a romance with his partner, Kristina Rihanoff, for example, while Rachel Riley left her husband of 15 months and is now in a relationship with Pasha Kovalev.
Your wedding should probably be one of the happiest days of your life, but Busted star Matt Willis had admitted that he can’t even look at photos of his special day with gorgeous wife, Emma Willis. The pair tied the knot way back in 2008 but Matt finds it tough to look at himself in the images so avoids them all together. Busted have already treated us to A Present For Everyone (geddit?) by properly reforming as a trio and heading off on their amazing Pigs Can Fly tour. The band last released a studio album, their second effort called ‘A Present For Everyone’, in 2003, though they did later release a live album, titled ‘A Ticket For Everyone: Busted Live’ in 2004. According to The Sun, Busted have now signed a deal with Warner Music and will be putting out their third album later this year.
Huge congratulations to TV presenter Emma Willis and husband Busted’s Matt Willis, who have just welcomed their third child into the world. The Sun has reported that Emma and Matt - who are already parents to Isabella, six, and four-year-old Ace - have called the little one Trixie Grace.
Matt Willis has revealed an idea for a name for his and Emma Willis’ third child - and it’s probably not what you’d expect. The couple are already parents to daughter Isabelle and son Ace, but it seems Matt has a more unusual idea for his third born, who is due in May, and a pretty ‘cool’ idea at that. Matt has got some other ideas too, though one seems to have been ruled out thanks to one of his Busted bandmates.
Emma Willis is perhaps one of the busiest women on television right now, with the star hosting one series of Big Brother and The Voice UK, two series of Celebrity Big Brother, as well as a weekly radio show and various other presenting gigs a year.
Massive congratulations are in order for presenter Emma Willis and husband Matt Willis, who are reportedly expecting their third child together. An insider told them: “Emma and Matt are thrilled. “Emma has major commitments to The Voice and Big Brother, which she’d obviously like to honour, and Matt has been fully focusing on making Busted’s comeback go well.
Busted have announced that even more tickets will be going on sale after their tour sold out in just one hour. Busted fans rushed in their droves to snap up tickets to see all three members back on stage again for the first time since Charlie Simpson left the band in 2005. Fans can now catch the band at extra nights in Glasgow, London, Cardiff, Manchester and Birmingham.
About two hours ago, all of our teenage dreams came true as Busted confirmed the worst kept secret in showbiz: they’re back, and they have Charlie Simpson in tow. After quitting the hugely successful band almost eleven years ago due to ‘creative differences’, Charlie stunned everybody when he agreed to team up with his former bandmates, Matt Willis and James Bourne, for some new music and a tour across the UK and Ireland.
A couple of months ago Olly Murs revealed that his then-girlfriend, Francesca Thomas, preferred him when he had a little more meat on his bones.
Year 3000? More like Year 2016! That’s right, after 10 years apart, Busted are set to make a comeback and Charlie Simpson is reportedly on board!
If you cast your minds back to, erm, April, you might recall that we bopped along to McBusted’s Most Excellent Adventure Tour at London’s O2 Arena, and had probably one of the best night’s of our lives. McBusted’s first tour saw the boys perform an entire show comprised only of Busted and McFly songs of yesteryear, y'know, considering they didn’t have any tracks of their own just yet. McBusted called all of their onstage paraphernalia 'gimmicks’ in their own words, and there are even more this time around than there were for the band’s first tour - and that included an actual UFO and humongous boobs.
