Piers Morgan has upset Good Morning Britain viewers (again), this time after being rude to a cheerleader.
Piers Morgan is not known for his apologising much, but he said sorry to Ben Fogle today after the TV presenter was “dropped” from the Good Morning Britain schedule. The former Countryfile host took to Twitter to express his disappointment after he was axed from the news programme, tweeting Piers and his co-host Susanna Reid. Ben Fogle claims he was “dropped” from the GMB schedule.
The shock slam certainly came as a surprise to co-host Susanna Reid who let out a huge gasp, and despite looking uncomfortable, Richard gave off a slight smirk. Piers Morgan branded a dating guru a “d**k” on Good Morning Britain. Piers then started to hastily backtrack, claiming he was only using the offensive term because it is another word for the 37-year-old entrepreneur’s name.
The bus driver who swerved his double-decker bus out of the way at the last minute to avoid hitting a woman who had been pushed into the road has spoken about the incident for the first time. Olivier Salbris was hailed a “total hero” by Good Morning Britain (GMB) presenter Susanna Reid for his actions, after the female pedestrian was nearly killed on Putney Bridge, west London. The 33-year-old victim was shoved onto the road by an unidentified jogger in May – right into the path of the bus.
Piers turned on his TV wife Susanna Reid earlier and accused her of ‘fat shaming’ his ‘double chin’ after his top button burst off live on air. Piers has accused Susanna of fat shaming him. Susanna was treading on thin ice when she claimed his multiple “chins” had caused the top button on his shirt to pop off live on Good Morning Britain.
Labour MP Barry Gardiner was left red-faced during an interview on Brexit – after TV presenter Susanna Reid highlighted a Remain campaign sticker on his iPad case. The shadow international trade secretary was appearing on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday to discuss his party’s position on the single market and customs union.
The Good Morning Britain host confessed that she rejected an offer of a cameo in the highly anticipated follow-up to the 2003 film because it made fun of her pal, Piers. In the sketch for Comic Relief, which aired last Friday, a gag was made about the controversial journalist ‘still being alive’ – but that was enough for Susanna to show her solidarity to Piers. ‘I enjoy how viewers react to my relationship with Piers on the sofa,’ she told the Daily Mirror.
Piers Morgan launched a blistering attack on David and Victoria Beckham this morning, accusing them of “pimping out” their youngest son Cruz on the pop market. The 11-year-old, who has just been signed up by Justin Bieber’s agent, has announced he’s releasing a cutesy festive single called If Every Day Was Christmas – and the very idea had Piers reaching for the sick bucket. “It’s the idea of pimping them (him) out on the Christmas pop single market,” he raged.
