Greatest US comedy Christmas episodes on TV

Just like their UK counterparts, American comedy shows can’t resist the lure of doing a Christmas special. It was hard to decide on which of The Simpsons’ Christmas offerings warranted a place on this list. For me though the best Christmas outing was actually the oft overlooked Marge Be Not Proud where Bart’s desire to own Bonestorm leads to him getting caught shoplifting and thus get banned from the mall.

    Greatest UK Sitcom Christmas Episodes

There are certain traditions that will forever be a part of British Christmas culture.  These range from moaning about mince pies already being available in late October, to buying a copy of the Christmas Radio Times despite coping absolutely fine without one throughout the rest of the year. In terms of televisual viewing over the festive period however, perhaps our finest tradition is the sitcom Christmas special. The first part focused mainly on Brent’s post-Wernham Hogg career and his attempts to keep up his public profile, while the second features him trying to secure a date for the Christmas party at his old place of employment.

Jim’s Top 10 Pranks on Dwight

With all of The Office available on Netflix, it was inevitable that a return to Scranton to visit our friends at Dunder Mifflin was going to happen, offering a binge-worthy return to what will be considered a classic US TV show. Top 10 US TV Couples

Ross and Rachel teased us with getting together, then were together, then were “on a break”, then maybe were thinking about getting back together (”Front and back!”), then had a baby, then got together in the very end. As a couple, they were so on-again-off-again that it became a bit much, but their relationship became a central focus for the show as it plowed towards a decade on TV. Probably the most wholesome of all couples from this list, Jesse and Becky were just meant to be together from Day 1.
