How taking a pizza selfie will donate money to charity

For anyone who loves eating pizza and taking selfies, this is your chance to do both for a very good cause.

Domino's Pizza has teamed up with the Teenage Cancer Trust in a brilliant charity campaign.

All you need to do is share a selfie with your Domino's and use the hashtag #MyDoughnation, and the pizza giant will then donate £5 to Teenage Cancer Trust.

It's to celebrate the fact it's already raised an incredible £2 million for the charity since they partnered up, funding 18 Teenage Cancer Trust specialists and the maintenance of 29 units in local communities across the UK.

Domino's has now set a new target to raise £3m by 2020 – so get ordering and get snapping.

Tony Holdway at Domino's said: "We're delighted to announce we've raised £2m for Teenage Cancer Trust on the three-year anniversary of the partnership.



"We're grateful to everyone who has contributed so much to the fundraising efforts, such as our in-store colleagues, our franchisees and our customers. We'd like to thank all those who have shown support and been so generous in their commitment to the charity.

"We're not stopping there though! We've set a new target of £3m by 2020 and hope our #MyDoughnation campaign on Twitter will kick the next phase off with a bang."

Laura Pearce, Head of Partnership Management at Teenage Cancer Trust, added: "We're hugely proud of what has been delivered through our partnership with Domino's. To reach such a monumental milestone in a short space of time is a real testament to the ongoing passion and commitment of Domino's colleagues, franchisees and customers.

"Right now, for every young person Teenage Cancer Trust reach, there's another we can't. This money will help us provide young people with cancer the best treatment, specialist care and support – and ultimately ensure that no young person faces cancer alone.
