Rising R&B star Tallia Storm has said London is the perfect place for her to pursue her dreams.

The singer, 19, has been tipped for success by the likes of Elton John and Nile Rogers since moving to the capital from Glasgow four years ago.

She joined model Vogue Williams at a party to mark the launch of the O2 arena’s designer shopping experience.

Storm said: “London is where I could really chase my dreams and work hard. Here it’s acceptable to think outside the box and push boundaries.”

Her next single World On A Slope, due for release next Friday, was partly inspired by her mother’s battle with breast cancer and includes lyrics focusing on mental health.

Storm said: “This is the first time I’ve been real with myself and completely honest. It’s important to be open about mental health and for people to help each other.”

The ICON Outlet mall, which opens at 10am tomorrow, circles the arena with 85 designer stores.
