'Love Island's Tanya Manhenga claims she "didn't have the opportunity" to tell Martin Akinola about her kiss with Shaq Muhammad.

The 23-year-old beauty insisted she never lied to Martin, after he called Tanya "insincere" and slammed her behaviour over recent days.

Martin told her: "When I was speaking to you, you never told me you were a liar.

"You're not sincere, you made me look like I was dumb, you're a liar."

Tanya subsequently denied the accusation of lying, insisting she simply didn't have the time to explain the situation.

She said: "You've said your piece, yeah, you're not going to call me a liar because you're bitter. I didn't tell you about the kiss, I didn't have the opportunity. I am not a liar.

"If you're upset about the way things were I apologise but I had to go with my heart."

Tanya took the decision to dump the Casa Amor bombshell after realising that her heart was still with Shaq.

She previously told Shaq: "I don't want anyone else. It doesn't matter who walks through this door. It doesn't matter what happens, what challenge is there ... I don't care about winning, I don't care about anyone speaking to me. I only want you."

Tanya also apologised to Shaq.

She added: "I just want to let you know, from the bottom of my heart, I love you so much."

Meanwhile, 'Love Island' bosses have confirmed the return of Movie Night.

The segment - which will air on Wednesday night (22.02.23) - will see the Islanders watch unseen moments from their time on the show.
