Taxi and unmarked police car collide in Stoke-on-Trent street

A taxi and an unmarked police car were involved in a crash on a Stoke-on-Trent road. Emergency services were sent to the two-vehicle smash in Forest Road, Meir, this afternoon (February 4).

The collision happened on the quiet cul de sac at around 3pm. It is understood that West Midlands Ambulance Service was also sent to the scene but no-one was injured.

In a statement, a Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Forest Road, Meir. The collision involved an unmarked police car and a taxi. No-one was injured."
