Taylor Swift helped a pregnant and homeless British fan to 'buy a house'

They say you shouldn’t meet your idol, but for one Taylor Swift fan it literally paid off.

When a fan from Manchester met the Bad Blood singer at one of her gigs, she got the most incredible respons, and the fandom have been sharing the heartwarming story.

After a concert in the North West of England, the mega fan went backstage to meet her hero, according to her account she posted on The Swift Line – a mobile phone app where Swifties can stay in touch, share stories, and keep up-to-date on the latest Taylor-related news.

Stephanie shared the tale of how her mum got in touch with the singer and asked to show her daughter a good time at the show. It appears Taylor took this and acted on it to help change her life.

The post began with ‘I’ve been contemplating posting this story for a while’, before recalling the time the pair met:

‘What many of you don’t know is that for 8 months of my pregnancy I was homeless. Long story short our first flat was condemned for health and safety reasons and we lost everything.’

She went on the share what the pair talked about in Manchester:

‘My mum told Taylor and just asked her to make me feel special at her show I was attending in Manchester.

After the show Taylor took us back to her dressing room where she told me, ‘Stephanie, you’ve been in my life for a long time and you’ve never asked me for anything. You could have reached out and I would have helped you. But you didn’t. Your mum told me…

Not only did the popstar tell her she wanted to give her the money back for her ticket, but ‘what she actually did was help us buy a home,’ Stephanie said.

‘That night she gave me her hand and lifted me off the ground. The same way she’s done for 12 years. I love her forever.’

Fan Stephanie has since removed her account from the app, but the images and story have been circulating since just before Christmas.

Taylor is known for going above and beyond when it comes to looking out for her fans.

Dubbed ‘Swiftmas’, the star has sent super fans Christmas and Hanukkah gifts in the past. It’s also been reported that she’s paid off fans’ student loans and medical costs, too.
