Taylor Swift cats’ names: How many cats does T Swift have? What breed are they? What is her new kitten called?

Taylor Swift isn't only making money from her music. Now, she’s cashing checks in the name of her newest feline family member, Benjamin Button.

According to TMZ, Swift has filed court documents to trademark Benjamin Button, the name of her newest kitten, for future merchandise opportunities.

The trademark will be for Benjamin Button clothing, phone accessories, toys, luggage, home furnishings, key rings, arts and crafts kits, glassware, ornaments, and coloring books, so if you were so inclined you could stock each room in your house with Benjamin products.

Swift has always been a feline lover, making her two other cats, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, almost as famous as she is. Benjamin Button is a new addition to her kitty crew.

She met the kitten on the set of her music video for “ME!” and instantly fell in love. Once she found out the pet was up for adoption, Swift was sold.

Who are Taylor Swift's cats Meredith and Olivia?

Swift has already trademarked the names of her other two cats, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, with merchandise including cat shirts and stuffed toys available.

Meredith and Olivia have been starring on Swift’s social media feeds for years. They even made a video appearance on her 1989 World Tour.

In her Time 100 video earlier this year, the pop star talked about her love for Meredith and Olivia.

“Number one for me, most influential factor in my life is cats,” Swift said. “I have cats. I’m obsessed with them. They’re just a real joy to live with. I love my cats so much that when a role came up in a movie called Cats, I just thought, I’ve got to do this.”

What breeds are Taylor Swift’s cats?

She just read all the theories 🙀

Both Meredith and Olivia are Scottish Fold cats. This breed has a gene mutation that causes the cats ears to fold down, giving it that wide-eyed, owl look.

Swift strayed from the Scottish Fold breed for Benjamin Button, who is a Ragdoll cat. This breed is known for having a silky coat and docile personality.

With Meredith, Olivia and Benjamin already bringing home the bacon for Swift, who’s to say she won’t add a fourth?

Something tells us she wouldn’t be opposed to a “crazy cat lady” title.
