Yahoo News Taylor Swift lookalike sends fans into meltdown: ‘She looks more like Taylor than Taylor’
Taylor Swift’s face may be among the most recognisable in the world, but that doesn’t mean that it’s totally unique.
And let’s be honest, we’ve all seen countless Taylor Swift lookalikes pop up on our social media feeds, because apparently, we’re all trying to emulate the T-swiz style (and if you’re anything like us, failing at it).
But this next Taylor twinsie is SO flipping good, she even has the hard-core Swifties fooled.
You see… THIS is Taylor Swift:
And… THIS IS NOT TAYLOR SWIFT:
The girl in the picture above, April Gloria (AKA, Taylor Swift’s actual doppelgänger), sports the exact same side-swept blonde bangs, and uses make-up to highlight her Taylor-esque features.
But the similarities don’t stop there, as April, who is a cosplayer from Kansas, also shares her love of cats – often posing with her feline friends for photos shared on her Instagram account.
The model and costume maker, who regularly posts T-Swift inspired selfies, has amassed over 71,000 followers on the photo-sharing site, receiving hundreds of comments on the daily, praising her uncanny resemblance to the singer.
“Omg she looks just like Taylor Swift!” one fan commented on her picture.
“Ummm this girl looks more like Taylor than Taylor,” another added, as a third confused fan wrote: “When I loaded this I thought it was a really good TSwift photoshop.”
And while April fills our pop-princess-picture void, Taylor is definitely continuing her break from the spotlight.
Just last week, Taylor performed at her one and only gig of 2017 – as far as she currently knows, anyway.
The Blank Spacer singer, who appeared onstage at the pre-Super Bowl concert in Houston, Texas, on Saturday night, told the audience at Club Nomadic they were attending “100 per cent” of her 2017 concert dates.
She said: “As far as I know I’m only doing one show in 2017, and as far as I know, this is that show. You are attending 100 per cent of my tour dates.”
