Taylor Swift is supporting fans by giving them financial aid as the coronavirus pandemic continues to claim lives worldwide.

Swift has been donating money to people who are facing unemployment and those struggling to pay their rent as a consequence of the Covid-19 crisis.

Her kind act was revealed on social media, where delighted users have shared screengrabs of big money transfers from 'Taylor Nation'.

Each of the donations is for $3000 (£2521):

One fan revealed she received the money after posting on Tumblr - Swift's favoured social network - that she was worried about having to leave New York and give up on her dreams of a music career.

"I cannot even believe my eyes right now," she wrote, next to a picture of the incoming cash transfer.

Swift isn't the only famous face donating money amid the coronavirus crisis, Angelina Jolie has made a huge $1 million donation to a child poverty charity.

Breaking Bad co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are donating 30 percent of the proceeds from the online sales of their mezcal brand to bartenders who are out of work.

Ariana Grande has also been sending money to people whose places of work have shut done due to the pandemic.
