TDMore Free DVD Copy review

TDMore Free DVD Copy clones lossless copies of your DVDs with blazing speed, either the entire disc or just the main movie. It burns directly to a blank DVD or saves output to a folder or ISO for playback on your PC. The software automatically detects inserted discs, or you can add files and folders by browsing or dragging-and-dropping them directly into the app-like interface. While it lacks some of the features and options of the paid version, it has the essentials like a preview pane, output and temp directories, language, and DVD Region encoding.

Pros

Change DVD playback: A front panel option let us choose whether to make our new disc jump to the main menu or the first title when inserted.

Output: We could select DVD-5 or DVD-9 output on the front panel and set disc size for each in the Common Settings.

Fast: We cloned a full multi-episode, multi-chapter TV series DVD, including all menus and extras, in 16:24. Of course, disc length and system resources will impact copy speed, but that's fast for freeware. Our video played perfectly.

Cons

Freeware limits: TDMore Free DVD Copy doesn't support all the Copy Modes in its control suite. To customize or change the copy configuration, you'll have to buy the software.

Bottom Line

If you've ever ruined a favorite DVD, you'll see right away the value of burning copies or saving them to disc to play on your PC or home media server. TDMore Free DVD Copy makes it fast and easy.
