Team catches giant python in paddy field in eastern India

A team from India's forest department on Monday (October 25) caught a 15-foot python in a paddy field. Locals in the Bangoriposi forest area of Odisha alerted the authorities after spotting the giant reptile. The team managed to locate the python, catch it with their bare hands and stuff it into a plastic bag. It was released shortly afterwards in a forest away from humans.
