So internet security is there to protect you from online dangers, such as phishing emails, website and social media scams and identity theft - whatever device you use, and wherever you are going online.

5 ‘on the go’ tips
Be careful what you access on a ‘public’ Wi-Fi especially things like your bank, email and other password protected apps
Protect your mobile device with a password/pin and make sure to change it regularly
Only download apps from a trusted source – ‘dodgy’ apps can convey your location, contact details and much more
Watch out for ‘spam’ emails, those offers that seem too good to be true, and don’t just ‘click here for more details’
On social networking sites, don’t tell the cyber criminals “I’m out all day with my friends on a shopping spree”
