Ted Cheeseman sealed an unanimous decision victory over Sam Eggington in a thrilling encounter on the first night of the Matchroom Fight Camp.
From Eddie Hearn's back garden at the Matchroom headquarters in Brentwood, Essex, boxing continued to roll on behind closed doors in the first of four live shows at the impressive venue in August.
In the shadow of Hearn's childhood home, Bermondsey fighter Cheeseman sealed a clean sweep of the judges' scorecards after a brutal and brilliant contest against the battle-hardened Eggington.
Cheeseman came into the contest without a win in his last three - defeats to Scott Fitzgerald and Sergio Garcia either side of a draw with Kieron Conway. But the 24-year-old secured a much-needed victory to boost his own prospects and also claim the IBF international super-welterweight title.
Earlier on the show, James Tennyson claimed the British lightweight title with a sixth round stoppage of Gavin Gwynne.
The Belfast fighter pounded his opponent with power shots from the opening bell but Gwynne stood firm, looking to take the fight to the later rounds.
His resilience was broken mid-way through the fight however, with a big right hook forcing the Welshman to take a knee with Tennyson swarming in for the finish moments later.
Fabio Wardley secured the vacant English heavyweight title with a third round stoppage of Simon Vallily.
25-year-old Wardley ended the contest in the third round, rocking his opponent with a short range left hook with the referee stepping shortly after.
Dalton Smith meanwhile extended his professional record to 6-0 with a sublime fifth round KO of Nathan Bennett. After an explosive opening round, Smith’s superior quality began to show as the fight wore on before producing an explosive finish, sending Bennett to the mat with a huge right over the top that ended the contest.
Jordan Gill opened the show with a very polished performance against former Commonwealth champion Reece Bellotti, securing an unanimous points victory.
