"How many more matches before you hit the panic button?" asks a journalist at a press conference, with Jason Sudeikis' titular footy coach responding: "There's two buttons I never like hitting, and that's 'panic' and 'snooze'".

Since debuting on the streaming service last August, Ted Lasso has hoovered up most of the major TV gongs, including the Screens Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series, Golden Globe Award for Best Comedy Actor and Critics' Choice Award for Best Comedy Series.

Elsewhere on the Apple TV+ slate is Tom Holland's recently announced anthology The Crowded Room.

This 10-parter, which is based on Daniel Keyes' biography The Minds of Billy Milligan, will focus on "the true and inspirational stories of those who have struggled, and learned to successfully live with, mental illness".

Spider-Man favourite Holland is onboard to play Billy Milligan, who became the first-ever person to be acquitted of a crime due to dissociative identity disorder.

Milligan stood trial for rape in the 70s before being acquitted on mental health grounds – he was said to have 24 personalities.

Ted Lasso is available to stream on Apple TV+.
