Teen rushed to hospital with stab wound after 'serious attack' in south Essex
A teenager was rushed to hospital with a stab wound after a "serious" attack in a south Essex street this week.
Police and paramedics were called to Thomas Bata Avenue in East Tilbury on Wednesday night after reports of a serious assault.
A 17-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with a stab wound after the incident before 8.30pm. His injury is not believed to be life-threatening, police say.
An investigation has been launched into the attack and officers have made no arrests at this stage, but their enquiries are ongoing.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We were called to Thomas Bata Avenue shortly before 8.30pm last night (March 29) following reports of a serious assault.
"A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a stab wound.
"His injury is not believed to be life-threatening. Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage."
