Teenage boy missing for more than a week found safe and well
A teenager who had been missing from home for more than a week has been found safe and well. Loved ones of 17-year-old Kalem had been sharing his image far and wide in recent days as concerns grew for the youngster.
Greater Manchester Police issued an appeal to find Kalem last week, before releasing a new CCTV image of the teenage boy as part of a fresh appeal on Wednesday (December 4). Kalem's family had shared several posts on social media, while posters urging people to look out for the youngster were put up in some areas of Greater Manchester.
In an update issued this morning (Thursday), GMP confirmed Kalem had been found. A GMP Oldham spokesperson wrote on Facebook: "Thank you to all who shared our missing appeal for Kalem on Wednesday, November 27 2024.
