Teenage Boy Praised For Taking Care Of Blind Parents Since He Was FOUR

A teenager has been praised for his bravery and kindness after taking care of his blind parents for nearly a decade.

Feng Molin, 13, has been looking after his mum and dad since he was just four-years-old after his dad was blinded by acute meningitis.

His mother has been blind since childhood and Feng had no choice but to act as carer for both parents, taking up more responsibility than most children at that age ever need.

The teen is currently studying in Yanmen Primary School in Yanmen, China, and unlike other boys his age, spends virtually no time playing with his friends after school.

Instead, he rushes home to cook, clean, and care for his mother and father.

The family currently lives off a government subsidy and donations from the public - which have reached over £20,000 over the years - but Feng was the sole breadwinner before his incredible story came to public attention.

At just seven, Feng began carrying out farm work for money and earned £310 in three years, which he used to buy his family a fridge and other household items.

Feng now plans to build his own “beautiful future” and take care of his parents with the money he earns later in life.
