Teenage girl injured after being hit by car in Canterbury

A teenage girl suffered from injuries following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian in Canterbury. The collision happened at around 6pm on Saturday, November 16 on Rheims Way near the Wincheap roundabout.

Police said the vehicle was reported to have left the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to locate it.

A police spokesperson said: "A teenage girl sustained injuries and attended hospital to be checked over."

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dashcam footage which may assist to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 16-1023.
