Teenager charged over attempted murder of 15-year-old boy

A teenager has been charged in connection with the attempted murder of a 15-year-old boy. The 15-year-old was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin, Moray, after the incident on the town’s High Street at around 7.20pm on Saturday.

He was later released.

Police Scotland said on Tuesday: “A 16-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder on a 15-year-old boy on High Street, Elgin, on Saturday November 16.”

The 16-year-old is due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court in due course.
