This Morning viewers were left outraged when Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield brought on a guest who admitted to splurging £20,000 in benefits on cosmetic surgery in a bid to look like his idol, David Beckham.
Jack Johnson, aged 19, doesn’t have a job but has been able to afford botox, tanning injections, lip fillers and teeth fillers through his benefits and loans, revealing that he now wants to have a gastric band fitted so that he can slim down like David.
Speaking on the show, Jack shared: “I know I am not slim like David Beckham.
“I have tried to lose weight, I have tried every diet, every exercise and I can’t do it. I need the gastric band to help me.
“I will be happy if I look like David Beckham, I want his lifestyle.”
Jack went on to add that he is destined to be famous and is determined to emulate David’s huge success – despite the fact he doesn’t have a particular talent.
When queried by Phillip on what his profession would be, Jack replied: “I don’t know, I will do anything. All my life I have been different and I have never fitted in. I believe I should be on TV, acting or presenting.
“I want to be good at it, I believe I can, I want to work my butt off to get my goal.”
Needless to say, This Morning viewers took to social media to rant about Jack’s “ambitions” – with many pointing out that he isn’t exactly a deadringer for Becks after all of that surgery:
