Teenager spotted waving machete while riding electric bike on busy Nottingham road
A teenager has reportedly been spotted waving a machete while chasing someone on an electric bike on a busy city road. Officers were called to Carlton Road, Sneinton, at around 4.05pm on Monday, September 16.
This was in response to reports that someone was being chased by two youths on an electric bike. One of the youths had reportedly waved a machete and was also carrying a piece of wood, police have said.
An investigation has now been launched into the incident and detectives are currently gathering CCTV and dashcam footage. No injuries have been reported.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. Detective Sergeant Chris Mavers, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "We want to hear from anyone with any information, or relevant mobile phone, CCTV or dashcam footage, who has not yet spoken to an officer.
