A driver was threatened in the street and had his car stolen from him by two people believed to be teenagers. The man was going about his day on Saturday, June 8, when shortly after 6pm on Holme Road, West Bridgford, the victim was approached by two individuals.

They took the driver's car, which was found abandoned and undamaged in the same road a few minutes later. Detective Inspector Claire Gould, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This was a frightening incident for the victim who was simply going about his daily business when he was threatened in the street and had his car taken.

"We are investigating this as a robbery and have been conducting door-to-door inquiries in the local area in a bid to identify the people involved. Our investigation is currently ongoing, and we urge any local residents who have not yet spoken to us to come forward with relevant information."

She continued: "We would particularly like to speak to anyone with security or dashcam footage from around the time of this incident showing two or three teenage boys together.” Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident 491 of June 8, 2024.
