Telegraph Fire Grows to More Than 61,000 Acres Amid Evacuation Orders

The Telegraph Fire in Arizona had grown to 61,211 acres as of June 7 and was at zero percent containment, with several areas ordered to evacuate.

In a statement released on June 7, officials said the fire was “showing active growth today”, and was “burning in abnormally dry and continuous surface fuels.” They added that the cause of the fire was human, and was under investigation.
