Telegraph Sport has received five nominations in the prestigious Society of Editors' National Press Awards, recognising the best of UK journalism in 2019. The winners will be announced on April 2.

Jeremy Wilson - Sports Journalist of the Year

Judges recognised Jeremy's work on dementia in football, his leading of The Telegraph's Girls, Inspired campaign, and his moving interview with boxer Nick Blackwell. 

Fiona Tomas - Sports News Story of the Year

Fiona was shortlisted for her exclusive investigation into the effects of concussion on sportswomen last November.
