The pandemic has affected all areas of healthcare, including mental health, with services paused or brought over the phone and online during the lockdown period. Experts have also warned about the impact of the pandemic on young people, with schools closed for months and children unable to see their friends in the normal way.

We want to hear about people’s experiences of children’s mental health services for those experiencing anxiety, depression, self-harm, eating disorders and other illnesses during this time.

Share your experiences

Has your child experienced difficulties caused by the coronavirus restrictions? Were you as a family left to look after a mentally unwell child on your own, with no or little help from the NHS? Did you end up paying for private care for your child? Has your child struggled with the return to school?

We want to report in-depth on how this area of the NHS has been affected by ongoing changes and hear about whether parents and children have had the support they need.
