Temperatures to jump back up with Liverpool set for 21C warmth

The mercury is set to jump up next week after things have turned noticeably colder in recent days. Last Friday, September 6, was very summery indeed, with highs of 27C in Liverpool.

But fast forward a few days and we've seen plenty of cold, windy, and wet weather across Merseyside and beyond, with many of us resorting to wearing our winter coats and contemplating putting the heating on. Today, Tuesday, has seen highs of 16C in Liverpool, that have actually felt a lot cooler.

According to forecasters at Accuweather tomorrow, Wednesday, will see highs of 13C that feel more like 10C, with "variable cloudiness with showers, some heavy, windy". Thursday, September 12, is then expected to have similar temperatures, as well as "occasional showers in the morning, otherwise partly sunny and breezy".

Friday's outlook predicts "low clouds" with maximum temperatures of 15C that feels more like 13C and on Saturday, we can expect it to be "cloudy with occasional showers in the morning, becoming breezy in the afternoon" with highs of 18C.

Sunday and Monday, September 15 and 16, are expected to have similar 18C highs, as is Tuesday, September 17, although there is also some rain forecast. Next Wednesday and Thursday, September 18 and 19, will be warmer than of late, with highs that feel as warm as 21C in Liverpool. Wednesday is set to "remain cloudy" while Thursday will be "less humid, with periods of sunshine".

After this, Accuweather predicts highs of 19C on Friday, September 20, with "sun and areas of low clouds".
