Ten best driving instructors in Cornwall - and one clear winner

Picking the right driving instructor is an important job but there are so many to choose from, how can you tell who's the best? Should you go with a major firm like the AA, or stick to a local instructor who's as Cornish as a pasty?

We decided to find out, so we created a poll and asked you, CornwallLive readers, to have your say by casting your vote for the best driving instructor in Cornwall. Now, the votes are in, they've been counted, and we now know who's the best.

Ian Mackellar, based in Bodmin, is the winner - and Sarah Quartermaine was a close second, with Malcolm Prideaux rounding out the top three. The full top ten, including how many votes each received, is listed below.
