Ten Huge Alligators Arrive at Australian Zoo

Keepers at an Australian zoo undertook the dangerous task of introducing ten huge alligators to the park in Somersby, New South Wales.

Footage provided by the Australian Reptile Park shows a group of zookeepers carrying the animals in large wooden boxes, before carefully releasing them into their new enclosure.

The Australian Reptile Park Director, Tim Faulkner said in a media release that the ground was "still wet and still slippery from recent rainy weather which added an extra element of danger. We all were kept on edge all morning but are happy to report all of the gators are safe in their new home.”

According to the park, most of the alligators have been named after famous rappers with “Notorious B.I.G, Flavor Flav and Tupac being just a few of the new arrivals.” Credit: Australian Reptile Park via Storyful
