Terence Crawford battles Shawn Porter in the ring tonight in a massive world title fight in Las Vegas.

Crawford is defending his WBO belt, having finally secured a fight against one of the biggest names in the division, and will be looking to remind everyone that he is one of the pound-for-pound best in the world.

The 34-year-old is the favourite to come out on top against Porter, who is a former two-time world champion, and whose defeats have come in thrilling fights against elite opponents.

Kell Brook, beaten by Crawford last November, took Porter’s IBF belt in 2014, and the American has only since been beaten by Keith Thurman and Errol Spence Jr, both on points.

His aggressive style means Saturday’s fight at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Vegas promises to be an all-action affair, and victory would propel Porter back to the very top of the sport.

However, Crawford will be determined to make a statement in the biggest test of his career so far.
