Terrifying footage shows boy, 12, being attacked by stray dogs on way home from school

This is the horrifying moment a 12-year-old boy is attacked by a pack of stray dogs on his way home from school.

The shocking incident was captured on CCTV cameras in the city of Bursa in Turkey.

Schoolboy Abdulmetin Fidan was walking home with two friends when four stray dogs started snarling at them.

While his friends managed to run away and escape, Abdulmetin was caught by the dogs, who attacked him.

The CCTV footage shows him trying to fight off the animals, but he is pinned against a building and he falls over.

The dogs then bite the boy on his chest and legs and he screams out in pain before they eventually run off.

A photo taken after the attack shows a huge cut on Abdulmetin’s chest.

He managed to walk the rest of the way home to tell his parents what had happened.

His father, Abdullah Fidan, took him to hospital where doctors kept him in for observation for several days.

Abdulmetin said: “When my friends started running away, I started running too. But the dogs caught me and bit me several times.

“I managed to run away from them and came home. I had to leave my schoolbag. I was very scared. Dogs always follow us home.”

His father said: “There are a lot of dogs in this area. They walk around in packs. My boy could have died.”
