Terrifying Twister Sends Debris Flying as It Roars Through Holiday Park

Two damaging tornadoes were reported either side of New Zealand’s North Island on August 20.

This dramatic footage was recorded by Mark Inman, who lives in Ohope, where the New Zealand Herald said several buildings were damaged.

Inman manages the Ohope Beach Top 10 Holiday Park, and told local radio that the twister “ripped through our little park.” One building, he said, was “torn to pieces.” Credit: Mark Inman via Storyful
