Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and Co-op 'do not eat' warnings as dip, lasagne and Christmas party food favourite pulled from shelves
Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and Co-op customers are being advised to check their cupboards, fridges and freezers after a number of items have been pulled from sale at the supermarkets.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues recall alerts for a variety of reasons, including when products contain allergens that are not disclosed on the packaging or if Salmonella or metal is detected in the item. When a product is recalled, for any reason, the FSA shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item, as well as detailed information on why the item has been pulled from sale.
Retailers also share their own recall notices in stores and online. The latest recall notices include Tesco Tzatziki Dip, Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns from Aldi and potato salads from Lidl.
