Tesco Christmas delivery slots for 2024 - all you need to know
The festive food shop can be a stressful time for many households, which is why a large number of Brits opt to have their Christmas groceries delivered.
Tesco has recently shared details about their Christmas delivery slots for 2024 and this year, the earliest slots are available for customers who sign up for a Delivery Plan. The supermarket giant has also increased its delivery capacity by adding 60 more vans to its fleet, creating thousands of extra slots across the UK.
Customers with a Tesco delivery pass will be able to book their Christmas delivery slot from next week. Those signed up for an Anytime Delivery Saver plan or Click+Collect plan can get a week’s head start with slots opening to this group at 6am on November, 5.

For shoppers without a delivery pass, slots open for all other customers on November, 12 at 6am, which is still one week earlier than last year.
However, there's still time to sign up for a pass that not only provides early access at Christmas but could also save shoppers up to £176 a year on delivery or collection fees.
Tesco has also increased the capacity of its rapid delivery service, Whoosh, with thousands of extra slots available on Christmas Eve this year – meaning customers can shop for last-minute essentials or forgotten items for the all-important Christmas Day feast.
Tom Denyard, managing director of Tesco Online said: “We’re looking forward to helping customers across the UK pick up their family favourites or treat themselves to something special this festive season. As we help customers plan ahead for their Christmas shop this year, we are excited to be providing increased capacity with thousands of extra slots available in the fortnight leading up to Christmas Day.
“And there is no better time to sign up to a convenient Delivery Saver plan and benefit from festive priority slot bookings. Delivery Saver plans not only give you early access to slots this Christmas, but they can also save you an amazing £176 a year on delivery or collection fees*.”
Delivery Saver is Tesco’s subscription-based delivery service designed to help reduce the cost of regular online grocery orders, with a range of plans running for 6 or 12 months and starting from £2.49 a month.
The plans mean any orders will be delivered or available through the Click+Collect service at selected stores for free.
