Tesco confirms when it will cut prices on Quality Street, Cadbury and more
Tesco has revealed it will be slashing the prices of Christmas chocolates in the run-up to the festive season. The supermarket giant is offering customers discounts so they can stock up in time for Christmas.
Quality Street, Cadbury and Lindt will be available at discounted prices exclusively for Clubcard members. Sharing tubs of chocolate will also be reduced as part of the massive festive offer.
The promotion includes 550g and 600g tubs of Roses, Heroes, Celebrations, and Quality Street priced at £4.50 - down from £6. These chocolates are currently on sale at Ocado, Iceland and Sainsbury's for £6, meaning Clubcard owners can save £1.50 with Tesco's latest promotion. There will also be a substantial 32 per cent discount on a 24-box Ferrero Rocher, costing £6.50 instead of the original price of £9.50. The same box is priced at £10.50 at Sainsbury's and Ocado, reports Birmingham Live.
Tesco has also reduced the price of Lindt chocolates including special flavours such as pistachio and tiramisu to £4.50, down from £6.30. Clubcard members can also purchase a multipack of Cadbury Dairy Milk Freddo and Friends for £2.50 - saving £1.
Customers can buy 70g of Cadbury Dairy Milk Coins for £1.65 - which matches the price at Asda, Iceland and Morrisons. It's not just chocolates that will be discounted, there will also be reductions on alcohol.
You could pocket some savings on Disaronno Velvet Liqueur, now priced at £11 each, down from £17.50. The same bottle of liqueur is tagged at £18 at Waitrose, £20.99 at Amazon and £17.50 at Sainsbury's. Over at Tesco, you could pick up Amarula Original Cream Liqueur for £11, a saving of £2.50. This is priced at £14.50 at Waitrose.
Shoppers can also shave off £1.50 on Croft Original Pale Cream Sherry, now pegged at £13. You can also grab Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry for £11.25, a saving of £2.25.
