Yahoo News Tesco makes major Christmas announcement on exactly when festive items will appear in stores
Tesco has revealed some thrilling news for Brits who are eagerly anticipating the Christmas season. The supermarket behemoth has disclosed the precise date it will unveil its 2024 range of festive decorations.
Starting from October 28, Tesco customers will have the opportunity to explore the store's new decorations, which will be accessible both in stores and online. Customers can anticipate hundreds of products, with prices commencing at a mere 50p.
The majority of items will encompass Christmas tree decorations, gifts, home accessories, and cards. A Tesco spokesperson commented on the announcement, stating: "Curated by the expert design team at Tesco, there's something for everyone this Christmas".

This year's festive homeware range at Tesco is categorised into three sections:
Cosy - brings a modern twist to the traditional Christmas colour palette, blending natural foliage, rich textures and warm creams and greens for a scandi-inspired vibe.
Festive Fun - is a joyful explosion of colour, characters and designs including candy cane stripes and gingerbread people.
Indulgence - focuses on jewel-toned hues and luxe touches such as velvet.
Within its 'Cosy' 2024 Christmas collection, customers can acquire Tesco's Candy Cane Sensory Greeting Card for £1.75. A dark green Glass Tree Candle is available for £10, and a Large Nutcracker Room Decoration is priced at £15, reports the Mirror.
Regarding Tesco's 'Indulgence' range, a Cocktail Mixology Set is available for £12, a Party Pineapple Glass for £8, and a Hanging Stag Head decoration for £2.50. There's also a red and gold traditional-themed gift-wrapping set for £2.50, as reported by Plymouth Live.
In the 'Festive Fun' category, customers can purchase a Wooden Christmas Eve Box for £10. There are also whimsical hanging Christmas tree decorations starting from £3.50 - including a dinosaur wrapped in fairy lights, a penguin donning a jumper, and Hattie the Angel.

The retailer has also revealed plans to cut the prices of its popular Christmas chocolates as we edge closer to the festive season, allowing customers to stock up in readiness for the holiday celebrations.
Clubcard holders will have the opportunity to benefit from exclusive discounts on Quality Street, Cadbury, and Lindt chocolates. In addition, there will be an enticing Christmas promotion offering sharing tubs of chocolates at reduced prices.
Tesco said the offers are subject to change and each product is on promotion for a certain amount of time.
