Tesco patrons have hit social media to voice their thoughts on the updated selections in Tesco's meal deal assortment. Since debuting its meal deal choices in 1995, the retailer recently showcased the latest additions online, inviting customer feedback.

The refreshed lineup in Tesco's meal deal includes a Seeded Tortilla Chicken and Bacon Caesar and a Gluten-Free Cheese & Onion Sandwich. One shopper remarked, "Gluten-free finally! Amazing! But cheese and onion? Really, can't we have something interesting too, please! " Another commented, "Spinach and potatoes inside a wrap... how about some tasty vegan sandwich options?"

Additionally, Tesco has rolled out an exclusive range with offerings like the Breakfast Half and Half – one part featuring bacon and ketchup, and the other boasting sausage and brown sauce.

Other exclusive items feature the Korean barbecue Style Chicken & Bacon Wrap and the Plant Chef Saag Aloo Style Wrap. An impressive count of 25 new entries have expanded Tesco’s already extensive meal deal options.

Tesco also divulged the top meal deal picks from 2024. It turns out the Chicken Club sandwich nabbed the title for most chosen sandwich, whereas a boiled egg in a pot clinched the spot for top snack.

When it came to quenching thirst, a 500ml bottle of Coca-Cola emerged as the favourite accompaniment in last year's meal deal combos. Meal deals start at £4, reflecting a slight price increase from the previous year by 10p.
